Dr. Patt McGuire was born and raised here in St. Louis, Missouri. She is the middle child of five siblings. She grew up at Kennerly Temple Church of God in Christ. After graduating from Vashon High School in St. Louis, she went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and criminology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri. From there, she went on to earn her master’s degree, an M.Div. in divinity, at Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri. Immediately following this accomplishment, she went on to earn her doctorate from Capella University in public safety leadership, specializing in criminal justice. Dr. Patt McGuire is a servant of the Lord, and she is proud to represent Christ in her daily work and deeds. Today, she continues to spread the Word of God on every platform the Lord opens to her. Dr. McGuire is the author of two books titled “Say I am the Way God Said I Am” and “My Best Friend Is 96 Years Old. Currently, she is on an assignment from God as a Correctional Chaplain at the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry in Yuma, Arizona. She has been on this assignment for the past three years. It has been the most rewarding ministry assignment/job she has had. Before relocating to Arizona, Dr. McGuire worked as a Deputy Detention Juvenile Officer for almost 18 years here in St. Louis, Missouri. She used this season of ministry to pour into the next generation. Young and old have benefited from the gifts God gave her. Her gifts have taken her into places to serve as a guest speaker, teaching and preaching the Word of God as part of church programs, participating in conferences, street ministry, and leading small groups in churches. When Dr. McGuire lived in Atlanta Georgia, she started her own church named Reaching Needs Ministries. Through that opportunity, she preached, taught the Word of God, conducted outreach ministries, and provided meals to the senior community. Today, she continues to spread the Word of God on every platform the Lord opens to her.
